Hi guys! Todays post is about Chipmunks! I hope you enjoy reading! Chipmunks are part of the squirell family. Most chipmunks are found in North America, but not all. There are 25 species of chipmunks. Chipmunks, are excellent tree climbers and swimmers, and they live in a variety of habitats. Chipmunks like to live in burrows and holes. Chipmunks have a omnivorous diet, and they eat food like : grains, nut and fruit berries. Chipmunks hibernate in the in cold weather, which means they spend most of the time in their holes sleeping. One chipmunk can gather up to 165 acorns! Thats alot of acorns! The chipmunks predators are birds, snakes and some small animals, like foxes.
